PROMOTING AND MAINTAINING A SAFE SPACE FOR PTS ACTIVITIES

THINK ABOUT IT . . . .

Everyone likes to feel respected. Take responsibility for making PTS space a safe space in which to spend time. Remember that fairness, mutual respect, democracy, and opportunity matter . . . everyday.

Reject targeting others for reasons of racism, sexism, sexual orientation, gender or other "labels."

Do not use offensive language in your space.

Reject emotional abuse, verbal and non-verbal threats, gestures or actions or any form of violence.

Keep your space clean.

There is zero tolerance for drug or alcohol consumption on PTS premises. Those under the influence will be asked to leave.

Respect the confidentiality of others. What is said in a group remains in the group.

Facilitators are volunteers too. For safety reasons stay with them to help lock up, tidy up, and check security.
