The fight against homophobia is very close to all our hearts.

The official site of the National Day Against Homophobia (www.homophobie.org) has loads of information on this event, and on homophobia in general. The site also addresses means of fighting homophobia. You are invited to use their “promotional campaign material” that you will find on the site under the same heading.

Initiated by the Fondation Émergence (a partner of Gai Écoute, an information/referral service and help line), the National Day Against Homophobia is an official annual event taking place in Québec on the first Wednesday of June. Last year, the Québec National Assembly unanimously adopted a motion in that regard.
